Will never step foot in a Brown Social House again, especially this one!!Overpriced to begin with but when we saw the in house advert on the table that said happy hour from 3-6 included $4.00 off sharables, we decided to try the $26.00 nachos (we added beef which was chunks of a beef patty). We even spoke to the waiter asking about the wine and beer specials as well, pointing to the advert on the table. When the bill came we asked about the $4.00 off, the response was "not on Sunday's". Not anywhere on the advert does it say that it excludes Sunday's but it does say "daily". So why wouldn't you honour it or take the dam adverts off the tables on Sunday's!?! I don't care about the $4.00, it's the principle of the whole thing. Very poor business practice! We frequent pubs 2-3 times a week but it won't be this one ever again!
Enjoyed some appies and drinks with friends on an early Sunday evening. Decent selection, reasonable prices and decent-sized portions. Partook of some Galactic Space Dragon IPA...6.5% abv and very tasty.Check out the "social hour" specials(3-6 pm) ...some bargains to be hadFriendly service and nice, clean, modern surroundings. All in all a very enjoyable visit.
Popped by for a business lunch. We both had pizza, highly recommend. Lively atmosphere and our server Isabella was friendly and attentive! Forewarning, if you're coming here over a lunch hour, parking may be difficult. But otherwise, 5/5 from me.
Weak start, middle & endRolled in around 11:00 am this morning for their brunch. Ordered 3 coffees that took between 10-15 mins before we got them. Our table was just about to walk out when our waitress came with our coffee an apologize profusely. So we sat back down and decided to give it one more shot. I order the fired egg sandwich. If you've had the egg sandwich from A&W it was the exactly the same! Head there and save yourself $7.00 and the wait. The waitress never came back once to top off our coffee. We had to ask when she was clearing off our table and we where done eating. We tried several time to get her attention in the half empty restaurant but she wouldn't even look over at our table. We ended up having to ask another waitress for the bill, because once again our waitress went missing. Probably wouldn't go go back for the brunch.
I go regularly as it's in my neighbourhood and I am never disappointed: I especially like the nachos. The bartender "Tara" always looks after myself and my group professionally and with a warm personality
